I added a small feature into the engine: (UV) Animated particles.
If someone ask, i can share the code. Here is an animated fire effect:

And one more thing born: Per node shadow-cast on/off setting. / h3dSetNodeShadowCast(H3DNode,bool) /

Very nice! I assume you use some kind of flipbook texture (tex atlas where you modify uv coordinates to jump to the next tile) for the animation?

Which version of Horde are you using? We recently introduced node flags in the svn trunk with which you can disable shadow casting for a specific node. If you still use Beta4, I would definitely recommend to switch to the latest svn trunk as there are a lot of good improvements.

Yes, You can use textures like this:

And the emitter got these new parameters:
uvx,uvy,fps,killAtAnimEnd.
