Horde3D

The game I started developing already exists. It is an online card game that includes a server, multi players and a client. The main differentiator I wish to achieve is the graphics. That is why I try to insist and stick to Horde3D. I wish to have that advantage.

Since I come from the server and enterprise application development world and it will take me some time to gain experience in the gaming world I’m thinking to form a virtual online team to work with me on that project. What do you think?
I would like to get to a point where I can demonstrate the graphics abilities…

If you are looking for people to join your project it is probably a good idea to post on gamedev and devmaster, but unfortunately finding good people who don't already have their own projects is usually not that easy.

i may be interested to join, though i'm still newbie at horde3d.

most of my free time is spent on developing demos using irrlicht, but i'm planning on adding horde3d as soon as i can run it on my xp machine. i'm still having trouble trying to get it up and running on my dev machine. the opengl driver is not 2.0 compliant and i don't know where to get it.

Getting drivers for notebooks is often quite inconvenient. What card do you have? For ATI and NVIDIA there are some inofficial modified drivers which often also work on notebooks. You could have a look here:
