I start integrate cmake for Horde3d and create ebuild for Gentoo Linux.
IMHO need more integration for Linux/BSD/Solaris, and SDL it is better.

If you look in the development forum, there is already a cmake build system, which should become the primary build system for linux quite soon.

What sort of integration do you mean? The engine works perfectly with SDL (the samples used to use SDL), but they have been moved to GLFW - at least in part because of the general flakiness of SDL.

Ah, install integration - yes, that would be nice. I am still working on a sensible install for OS X, but if anyone can figure out how to build a Horde rpm, etc. I am sure it would be welcome.

cmake is integrated in svn trunk. For Linux users who use the makefile target of cmake can also use "make install" to install the library and header files. Configuring the target directory is possible using ccmake.

What's the problem with atof and glfw? I had difficulties to understand what you wanted to say.
