Hi!

Are you going to rewrite Horde3D using OpenGL 3.0? And if any - when?

Thnks for the link. Search tool on this forum is really useless.

Can someone tell when do effects based on geometry shaders (for example) will be added in Horde3D?

When somebody writes a patch to add them.

Less facetiously, Geometry shaders are a GL 2.0 extension (i.e. they don't require GL 3.0), so anyone could add them at any time. However, I don't know if anyone here has both hardware/drivers that support them, and use for them.

Not if you have one of the new nvidia cards, they already have ogl 3.0 drivers.

I think buying a new Geforce 9600 GT (~150$) will solve the problems.
