Thanks to Marciano's new exporter, I'm able to export poser pro characters in collada and import in Horde. However, the characters are naked. When I attach clothes in Poser, they export, but then they do not move with the skeleton in Horde.

I've tried multiple scenarios including parenting, conforming, and replacing the body part with the clothes in Poser. Now I'm trying to edit the original obj source file for the character in an external modeling program, so I can reshape the nude body into clothing and repaint.

Somewhere in all of this, I thought "There has to be a better way..."

Any suggestions?

Maybe this is just a small problem with the node hierarchy. If you can send me a repro case I can take a look at it.

Old thread but, the problem is that Poser Pro collada exporter duplicates the actuating bones to each cloth piece, and leg bones are no more trousers bones, there are separate trousers bones. Daz has a "merge skeletons" option to avoid this, and "lock conformers" when exporting to FBX, but anyhow they bring in new problems in other areas. Delayed regards, Jesus.
