Technically, no. But in practical use, it is perfectly safe to use Horde in a multi-threaded environment - merely make sure that only one thread ever calls Horde functions, or use a mutex to serialise Horde calls.

Reason I ask, is we want to have paging scene nodes to produce a paging scene manager.
