Most promising showcase for Horde3D I've seen so far. |

Really great work so far! A bit of constructive feedback, the particle clipping is quite noticeable but you mentioned soft particles yourself already in another thread. I also think that working on the vegetation shading can give you a lot of effect with little effort. GPU Gems 3 has some good articles covering that. If you have the time, some SSAO could be another thing to improve the contrast a bit, especially if your grass is alpha tested (here for example is a simple but nice technique). Out of curiosity, do you experience any performance issues? |

Thank You! Performance issues? No, this engine is very fast I just have some problem with the missing features. I mean directional light, and soft particles. Alas, the implementation of these things are too complicated for me. I'm not a hardcore engine coder. I hope, someone can help me |

Yeah, (parallel) directional lighting would be really useful, but you can already do soft particles in H3D. I can make an example shader if you want. By the way the game looks really amazing. As a huge fan of Men Of War, I can't wait to play this. EDIT: Marciano already posted example here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=652&start=15 |

This looks really really good. I really like the polish that went on in the short timeframe between the two videos. The textures+grass look great! So do the moving trees. Really nice work. |

I just asked because I can imagine that you had to add a lot of functionality to archive this great result. |
