The prefix proposal is implemented now. All exported core functions have the prefix h3d and the utility functions have h3dut. The readability issue I mentioned before is really just a very minor thing, especially since one is getting used to the new syntax. As announced in a different thread, the enums were renamed as well.

So actually the new API conventions are fully in place now. I must say I'm quite happy with what came out. Thanks a lot to everyone who has taken part in the discussion! :)
