Any profiling support built into the engine? Didn't find anything on the forum, wiki, in the sources, or in the documentation about it.

Basically, my scene is slow (8-20 fps). What do people use for profiling?

There's nothing like that build in. You can use CodeAnalyst from AMD. But that does not include shader profiling, only CPU based code

You could try a tool like gDEBugger (30 day trial) for examining what's going on in the GPU.
