I am using Visual C++ 2005 Express. I keep getting the same 12 linker errors, I even found and included the directories for the lib and include files! What's wrong here?

Some time ago I tried to compile the complete solution with VC Express 2005 and it worked "out of the box" without any problems. Might be you forgot to install the Win32 Platform SDK?

I followed the directions on microsoft's web site when I installed it, maybe there is something else I forgot?

I forgot to mention I am getting errors like: unresolved external symbol addLightResource referenced in type void init()... etc. etc.

I have included Horde3d.h and Horde3dUtils.h in my program also.

The supplied project works out of the box for me too, just when I try to make my own I get these errors.

Ok, so you are not talking about the Chicago sample. In your own application you need to add horde3d.lib and horde3dutils.lib as additional dependencies under Linker/Input in the project settings.
